An IKU™ membership is not a quick fix. Look at it as a journey that involves everything related to staying safe and progressing while making sure the proper foundations are there. It’s not just Kettlebells either.

Thanks Taco. For the understanding of the group, I have a lower back issue which is preventing me from doing the Windmill let alone the Bent Press. It’s been an ongoing issue for years but has become more prevalent in the past six months, and I clearly need to focus on correcting an imbalance.
I reached out to Taco to suggest it might be best if I removed myself from the group, simply because I couldn’t contribute. he gave that suggestion a resounding 👎🏼 and instead suggested a path of corrective exercises in the wider scope of addressing the imbalance. and here we are 🙏🏼.

It was the same for me a couple of months ago during the Sots Press challenge, I realized I was out of my depth so publicly backed out. Taco suggested working on the basic squat within the group which I am pleased to say I did with amazing results, looking forward to seeing your progress, we are all on a journey together, and some got a head start. 🤜🤛
Member 1 is now making progress with a bodyweight mobility routine that we put together after discussion and we’ll be adding to the routine. At some stage, member 1 will be ready for the next of the progression. The point is, an IKU™ Membership is about getting YOU to the next level of your training, whether that means taking a step back and fixing the foundation or adding to what you know, we will provide it.
Member 2 has gone from not being able to properly squat to squatting deep and with near-perfect form and technique. Now the squat can be loaded with weight and progress can be made with strength.
Skeptical About Online Kettlebell Coaching?
Chris Peter: This bent press camp has changed my mind about online coaching. I was sceptical before this but now I am all in.
Taco Fleur: Can you tell me what part you were skeptical about?
Chris Peter: Well, kettlebells as you know are very difficult to learn. I didn’t think that you would be able to diagnose and fix all my problems from just a video and I didn’t think I would be able to learn from a video as well, but now I know that’s completely wrong. I thought that had to be done in person but I am also very uneducated in the training world.
But I also enjoy the group aspect a lot more than I thought I would. You provide a great online experience and I saved a lot of the videos you have posted and will get to them eventually.

I started my journey with KBs a couple of times, without significant progress, once I even managed to injury myself while doing exercises from YouTube. It’s only when I joined Taco Fleur sessions, started to film my trainings, thanks to the constant valuable feedback and attention (not to mention professionalism and passion) of Taco, I started to move forward. Hello from the UK! I’ve been a fan of your content for some time now, and love your training philosophy.
I am a busy dad and have previously got in training when and where, but not strictly followed the same program.
I’d yet to experience the famous ‘What the heck’ effect with kbs, but for the last 6 weeks, I have consistently been doing your ‘Pacemaker’ workout with just a 12kg (usually train with a 16 or 20).
Oh my word! I’ve noticed the difference and the fitness gains in just these six weekly sessions! My commute to work is a short cycle (7 miles) but with a huge hill for the last 1.5 miles. I’ve flown up it far quicker and my recovery time afterwards is vastly reduced. I shaved 1.5 mins off the return journey after being stuck around 25 minutes for ages (a big improvement that I clearly hadn’t gotten from repeating the cycle alone!).
I also went bouldering with a friend this evening after not going for a couple of months. Previously we had very similar abilities but my grip strength had come on so much that he couldn’t match me. I couldn’t believe it.
I just wanted to reach out to say thank you and say how blown away I was by doing this. And what’s more, I only did pacemaker ONCE A WEEK and still saw these gains.
