Compared across 2 organizations. Marathon & Extended Formats category.
In marathon and half-marathon events, athletes may switch hands as many times as they wish throughout the set. This is a key difference from the standard 10-minute snatch set where only one switch is allowed.
In both marathon formats, multiple hand switches are allowed. Switching side can only be done with a single hand-to-hand swing (technically a half swing on each side), except for Jerk where the athlete may choose to clean the kettlebell with 2 hands. If switching without extra swing (speed switch), there can only be 2 hands on the downward portion of the switch.
