Athletes may use a standard weightlifting belt with a width no more than 12 cm. The belt must be worn outside the competitive suit (not under the uniform).

Maximum of 12 cm in the back part, maximum of 6 cm on the front, with a maximum thickness of the belt of 1.5 cm. On the belt are not allowed to wear any other bandages or patches.
